- Play soccer with Masai children
- Kick back and watch the dhows go by from your seaside verandah in Zanzibar
- Explore Stonetown- wander through the narrow alleys, see elaborately carved doorways and visit the old slave market
- Climb Kilimanjaro (acclimatization is key so don’t fast track it!)

- Mid-Mar-May: the long rains occur at this time (many camps and lodges are closed during April and May)
- Nov: the short rains tend to occur at this time

- Jun-Oct: great for game viewing
- Nov-Mar: rainy season
- Apr-May: fair for game viewing
